We are seeking a highly motivated HVAC Engineer to join our Engineering team.
This position requires at least three years of HVAC experience.

EDUCATION
Must have a High School Diploma/GED and 2 years technical training or 2 years college degree.
* 4 years minimum experience in a hospitality setting Required*.
Licenses:
* Have and maintain a valid Driver's License
* Certified Pool Operator
* Refrigeration Certification - level IV (Universal)
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualification Requirements

* Keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day to day maintenance of the hotel under direction of Engineering Management.
* Continually work towards and support the improvement of engineering services to both guests and associates.
* Be capable of operating as an independent engineering supervisor. Be able to analyze problems, identify courses of action and implement solutions with available resources and to a high degree of quality.
* Train and instruct other members of the staff through the day to day sharing of your knowledge and skills.
* Be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules (i.e., Lockout Tagout, etc.), Safety Awareness information (such as MSDS), operating and maintenance instructions, procedural manuals and blueprints. Possess adequate skills for the writing of routine reports, logs, and correspondence. Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
* To clean all engineering areas as directed by Engineering Management
* To work in a neat and efficient manner, keeping work areas clean and well organized
* To serve as otherwise directed or needed to help maintain the effective and efficient operation of the hotel (this assignment shall be at the discretion of Engineering Management or the hotel General Manager)
* Flexibility to work any days or shift including holidays and weekends as directed.
* Produce daily progress reports on work assignments and accomplishments of the engineering crew.
General Requirements
* Complete all work assigned in a safe and professional manner including but not limited to inspection and supervision of all department engineers.
* Maintain communications with management to ensure that all needed materials, tools and supplies are available or on order. Follow up on all parts requests and any items that may be on back order
* Provide training and technical advice to other engineers as needed or requested
* Maintain a thorough daily accounting of activities and problems that occur, and ensure this information is passed on to other shifts, supervision and management through postings, meetings and reports.
* Have the ability to operate PC's, laptop computers, PLC , Logic controllers and various other computer controlled devices and systems.
