Pastry Chef

Belonging to the elite and eclectic worldwide collection of Orient-Express, El Encanto is now searching for a passionate and dynamic Pastry Chef to be part of our team and grand re-opening slated for March 2013.

This creative professional will must possess a technical culinary program degree with pastry emphasis or a minimum of two years of technical baking and pastry experience, preferably in a luxury hotel setting. Proven success with breads, pies, cakes, cookies, pastries, and confections, as well as ice creams and sorbet is essential. The successful candidate will possess a strong team-minded approach to fellow-workers and hold the highest standards for food quality and work ethic. Fluency in English and the ability to read and recalculate recipes for varying yields are essential.
