Job Details
  • Maintain revenue, payroll, and expenses within budgeted parameters for the department
  • Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations.
  • Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving, and building maintenance in lodging and dining facilities.
  • Test cooked food by tasting and smelling it to ensure palatability and flavor conformity.
  • Maintain desired levels of quality assurance ratings including guest comment cards and inspection scores
  • Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service.
  • Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity.
  • Recruit, select, and retain a quality staff
  • Perform associate training on policies, practices and procedures
  • Responsible for supervision, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions of associates with the approval of the General Manager
  • Prepare work schedules and expedite workflow
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or hospitality related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the food service industry
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
