SUMMARY: The Experience Planner is a professional representative of the resort, specializing in direct guest service. The Experience Planner will make contact with every guest upon arrival to ensure that they are able to utilize as many resort activities as possible during their stay. The primary responsibility of the EP Staff will be to book onsite golf, dining, spa, tennis and any other activity the guest may want, including local area attractions. The Experience Planner will then create a personalized itinerary for each guest.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Experience Planners are responsible for assisting in house guests, who have not done so already, to understand and book all of their property-wide experiences. These experiences range from golf tee times to Personal Training sessions to dining options and spa appointments.

2. EP must be knowledgeable about all resort amenities and options, as well as, local events and dining. Must be able to make accommodations for tours, restaurant reservations, theaters, tickets, sporting events, rentals, limousines, cab and shuttles rides, airline accommodations, mailing and receiving packages, amenities, flowers, maps and directions, golf, dancing and night life, etc. etc.

3. Must be able to utilize the Springer Miller Property Management System and understand components of La Costa Accommodations packages.

4. Should be able to multi-task and have good communication and interpersonal skills.

5. EP will be trained to assist Front Desk and Guest Services during peak times.

6. Responsible for logging and distributing incoming mail, flowers and amenity orders.

7. Have basic knowledge of the business center; computers; copiers and faxes.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Must possess vast knowledge of the local area. Requires an enthusiastic individual who is friendly with a genuine caring personality, love of people, warmth, graciousness, and willing to go one step further to please our guests.
