Executive Housekeeper

The Aloft Cleveland Downtown is a newly constructed property with a projected opening in early June of 2013. An Executive housekeeper is needed prior to opening to facilitate the final touches and cosmetic maintenance up to the opening date, as well as hiring a staff and networking with Temporary agencies to arrange staffing on an as-needed basis.
The Executive housekeeper will manage the overall day-to-day and long term operations of the "Re:fresh" department, including the upkeep of the guestrooms, public space and outdoor surroundings. Establish and maintain a proven set of processes to assure the hotel is consistently clean taking personal responsibility and pride in both the execution and the results. Must communicate with maintenance any issues in rooms and public space that need repair. Ultimately responsible for monitoring the consumption and ordering the replacement of guestroom amenities, linen, terry and cleaning supplies. Another important role is monitoring performance of outside laundry services.
The ideal person will have a minimum of three years housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel environment.
