We’re seeking an outgoing and enthusiastic Business Development and Private Event Sales Manager to promote and sell private events at the award winning Sea Change restaurant and beautiful Guthrie Theater.
You will be responsible for:
- Increasing revenue for the restaurant and theater through effectively selling the space for weddings, corporate events, cocktail parties, formal dinners, etc.
- Ongoing networking in the community, cold calling, social media, blogging, and email marketing.
- Embracing and strengthening corporate, non-profit, local business and tourism board relationships to gain more event and group business exposure.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1 -2 years prior successful sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry
- Extroverted personality, networking skills and ability/desire to make cold calls
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Social Media savvy
