General Manager

The Holiday Inn Downtown Mobile and the legendary Admiral Semmes hotels located in the historic district of Mobile, AL are seeking a General Manager capable of successfully leading these hotels in achieving both financial performance and guest satisfaction.

The responsibilities of the position require a manager capable of driving sales while also maintaining a customer driven operation steadfastly focused on exceeding client expectations.

As General Manager you will be responsible for delivering a standard of "noticeably clean" housekeeping.  You will maintain the physical condition of the hotels to exceed all brand, company and guest expectations.

The GM will be able to effectively lead the support management team by example and with effective communication skills.  The ability to develop an exceptional well-trained staff is a key component of the position.

The GM will have prior hotel GM management experience with particular expertise in cost controls, revenue management and sales & marketing and the ability to deliver bottom line results. Outstanding communication skills and leadership ability that result in award winning hospitality will be attributes of the successful candidate.

The General Manager, as ambassador of the hotels, will be required to be an active and recognized member of the local business community.

This is a unique opportunity for a hospitality professional with a proven record of success. Previous IHG experience is preferred but not required. EOE.
