We are seeking a Director of Asset Management in the greater DC area.

We are seeking an Asset Director capable of overseeing a mixed region of branded hotels: some full service (200/400 rooms) and some of the portfolio serves other markets (select service, focus, limited, suites, extended stay products).

Prior experience as an Area/Regional Director overseeing full service and/or limited service would be helpful.
We will also consider a full service General Manager who has overseen branded products up to 500 rooms OR a Director of Finance who has exceptional understanding of Rev Management  and Sales. Knowing brand standards of Marriott, Hilton and/or Starwood is paramount.

This would be a great opportunity for a field full service General Manager or Area/Regional Director of Limited Service to step up to the Corporate Level..

The Asset Director is responsible for:
***Ensuring the ownership objectives are met while working with a 3rd party management agreement.

***Knowing how to complete the budget & capital plans is important.

***Working to reduce cost while guiding the properties to enhance revenues.

***Working with the ownership team to add new products, conduct due diligence and dispose of current assets that have matured.

***In addition:  On site property reviews, knowing basic hotels metrics, excellent with numbers (monthly P&L's) and strong contact with the GM and Regional Director at the third party management companies is required. Requires overnight travel up to 70% of the time.


***Able to articulate your concerns to the third party operators and track quarterly/annually progress.

***Should be analytical and able to review a hotel's performance against the comp set and offer advice on RevPar, sales, cost controls, growth opportunities, renovations, maintaining brands integrity and growing the value of the asset over the long term.

***Results are measured by 5 key areas: Financial Performance, Forecast Accuracy, Asset Protection, Guest/Brand Satisfaction, and Revenue Maximization along with CapExp, Project ROI, Sales Deployment, Market Analysis, etc.
***Should have excellent MS Excel, Power Point and Word knowledge. ****Able to comfortably and confidently meet with owners for monthly presentations. Able to work independently along with an analyst.

 ***This position includes a lot of number crunching, so the right candidate should enjoy that activity.
