The Homewood Suites by Hilton New Orleans is searching for a Senior Sales Manager to join our sales team. This individual will be responsible for developing relationships with our current corporate clients and at same time seek out and capture new corporate business for the hotel. Reliable transportation to make sales calls at least 50% of the time will be necessary for this position. The Homewood Suites New Orleans has 166 beautifully appointed one and two room suites and over 6300 sq. ft of flexible meeting space. The hotel is located in the heart of the Central Business District. Our hotel is just four blocks from the French Quarter, four blocks from the Super dome, six blocks from Harrah's Casino, and seven blocks from the New Orleans Convention Center. Our guests may also enjoy a complimentary Full American Buffet Breakfast including a variety of hot items each morning in our spacious Lodge, and a Welcome Home Reception Monday - Thursday with complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks, and a light meal.

Minimum 2 years hotel sales experience
Extended Stay experience preferred
Hilton brand hotel experience preferred
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work independently
Ability to seek out, find and close new business.
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with current clients
Team Player
Computer skills a must
Travel approximately 50% of the time
