Job Details
The Hampton Inn is currently seeking an experienced manager who has rooms and sales experience to assist the General Manager in the day to day operations of the hotel.
The Assistant General Manager will run the Front Desk operations and must have working knowledge of banquets and meeting facilities. They will take a lead role in the front desk operations focusing heavily on guest satisfaction ensuring staff is trained and motivated to deliver high levels of customer service.
This position will require someone who is hands on and flexible with their schedule, willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

The successful candidate will have a hospitality degree or equivalent work experience

Proficiency in all areas of hotel operations
This position will require the ability to oversee inside sales of small groups, Meetings and Banquet
functions
Will need to demonstrate ability to contain costs.
This person will need to be able to train and motivate staff.
Proven leadership and effective communication skills are a must.
A strong passion for the hospitality industry and desire to deliver excellent customer service.
Knowledge of ON-Q a major plus !
Can function as the General Manager in his/her absence.
