The Memphis Marriott, boasting 319 guest rooms and 14,500 square feet of meeting space is conveniently located in the southeast Memphis business district. Our hotel is located at the intersection on I-240 and Perkins Road, providing easy access to Memphis International Airport, Graceland and Beale Street. We are currently searching for a seasoned Hotel Controller for the latest addition to our management portfolio, The Memphis Marriott. This urban hotel boats 319 guest rooms and 14,500 square feet of meeting space!
As our Controller you will assume the role of a detail-oriented, professional, well-balanced financial overseer who will be responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of all daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial information. The Controller will also be responsible for management of the Accounting Department, which consists of an accounting manager, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivables.
The Controller will be a part of the Executive Committee. This committee drives the property through leadership and entrepreneurial attitudes.
Job Requirements
The candidate assuming this exciting role must have a Bachelor's degree in either accounting/finance/business, along with a minimum of five years' experience. Hotel experience is required. The ability to promote and foster a productive, efficient, and fun work environment is a must.
