Hotel Albany - an Albany Hilton Hotel affiliate, is located just one block from the New York State Capitol Building and two blocks from the Times Union Center.  The largest hotel in the area, the Hotel Albany boasts 385 oversized guest rooms, a state of the art fitness center, and 34,000 square feet meeting space, including the largest ballroom in the Capital District.

Undergong a $14 million renovation, the Hotel Albany (formerly Crowne Plaza), has a long and storied history as a mainstay of Downtown Albany. Be part of the team as this property heralds another milestone in 2013, as it is renamed Hilton Albany.  

The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the operation, including improving financial performance, operational and financial controls, ensuring optimal guest satisfaction scores, and developing and retaining a strong management and hourly associate team.

Qualified candidates will have at least five years General Manager experience, in full-service hotels of similar size and caliber.  Previous experience with Hilton systems and standards, and union environments a plus.  Must have proven ability to identify revenue enhancement opportunities and be skilled in sound fiscal management practices. Must have excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to motivate workforce at all levels.
