If this describes you, we have the ideal position available at Pacific Hospitality Group's newest Crown Jewel, the Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa as a Busser in our upscale restaurant Mustangs & Burros.

Opened in 2004, Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa is a 210-room, Southern California hotel and spa resort near San Diego in La Jolla. Estancia La Jolla is situated adjacent to the University of California San Diego (UCSD), within an easy drive of San Diego's Golden Triangle, the village of La Jolla, beaches, shopping and San Diego's world-class attractions.

Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa was recently listed on the "Hot List" for 2005-2006 by Conde Nast Traveler, one of only three properties in California, as well as awarded AAA's prestigious Four-Diamond Award. This hotel in Southern California features 26,000 square feet of state-of-the-art IACC certified conference facilities, a full-service spa and fitness center and multiple award-winning restaurants and lounges.

The Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, self-determined, dynamic individual who thrives in a fast paced sales environment to join our team. Responsibilities will include meeting & exceeding sales goals, negotiating contracts, identifying new business that fits sales parameters, consistently making prospecting calls, booking repeat business and developing long term relationships.

Responsibilities will include: Providing exemplary customer service and cross marketing including proper service of all food and beverage offerings; assist guests and service staff in the cleaning and setting of tables in an efficient manner; complete all assigned cleaning duties and keep all storage areas cleaned, organized and rotated; maintain organization of the Mustang & Burros side and condiment stations during and after the shift; assist in running food from kitchen to restaurant in an efficient and timely manner; and describe all beer, liquor and wine, menu items, and specials with enthusiasm

The ideal candidate will have:

* Extensive knowledge of Food and Beverage etiquette, guest relations and service standards required
* Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently to interact with guests
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to analyze and anticipate guest needs and resolve any and all guest challenges
* Basic mathematical skills
* Interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction
* FT & PT/Flexible to work 7 days a week - shifts from noon on
*1- 2 year Food and Beverage experience
* Team oriented
* Ability to work under pressure during busy periods
* Food Handlers Card required
