The Assistant Front Office Manager directly or indirectly supervises associates and supervisors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning,
assigning, supervising and directing work; monitoring productivity and making improvements for
increased service or productivity, setting deadlines and ensuring timely completion of work, appraising
performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Currently our Renaissance located in the Orlando International Airport area, is seeking a qualified individual for the ASSISTANT FRONT OFFICE MANAGER position.

* Marriott experience is a definite plus
* Proven record of exceptional GSS success
* Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our
guests at all times, take pride in representing JHM Hotels professionally with our guests and
assuring that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
* Understand and apply all hotel safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe
environment for associates and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency,
get medical attention if necessary and contact GM or MOD. Responsible for making sure a
Worker's Comp or General Liability claim is filed within 24 hours.
* Maintains an organized and efficient Front Office Department.
* Determines, communicates and monitors achievement standards and standards of performance
on a timely basis.
* Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel, as well as the local
area to effectively assist guests.
* Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company associates to foster and promote a
positive working environment.
* Prepares work schedules in accordance with forecasted occupancy
* Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
The successful candidate will have a college degree in Hotel Administration, 2-3 years hotel management/supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
