Days Inn Lake Havasu has a position for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, self-determined, and dynamic individual who thrives in a fast paced sales environment. The part time Sales Manager will handle all sales inquiries, build relationships, and solicit accounts.  Responsibilities will include: 

• Proactive direct sales effort by online research
• Prospecting through sales calls
• Reaching out to local businesses through in-person visits
• Following up with potential clients
• Sending out collateral
• Saturating accounts
• Assisting GM with group bookings
• Nurturing and growing existing client relationships
• Up-selling to meet sales goals
• Assisting with and coordinating trade shows

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1 year hotel sales or customer service experience
• College experience
• Flexible to work weekends/and or evening
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Outstanding communication skills

Part time – average of 20 hours per week

Flexible schedule

Some travel – 1+ out of city event per month and 2-4 out of state trainings per year

Will attend all of the Visitor and Convention Bureau meetings as well as become a member

Hourly wage plus eligible for sales incentive plan
