Regional Controller Accounting/Finance Marriott Atlanta Buckhead Hotel and Conference Center The Marriott Atlanta Buckhead Hotel and Conference Center has recently completed a multi-million-dollar renovation that positions this property as the premier hotel in the Buckhead are of Atlanta, Georgia. The 349-room full-service hotel offers all the amenities one would expect, including over 30,000 sq ft. of IACC certified conference space and a Shula's 347 Grill restaurant. Centrally located in the Buckhead business and shopping district of Atlanta, it is convenient to both downtown and the Georgia interstate systems. The hotel offers the perfect location for business and leisure travelers and groups of any size. We are just steps from Lenox Mall, Phipps Plaza and MARTA, and only 20 miles from Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport. We are currently searching for a seasoned Regional Controller to be based out of our Southeast region of the United States. This region includes hotels in Georgia and Florida As part of the regional executive team, the Regional Controller will be a key contributor to strategies, tactics, long-range forecasting, and overall efforts to continually improve the operations and return to owners. The individual will also work closely with the corporate staff, COO, and other disciplines to ensure appropriate accountability and transparency, with vigilant attention to management of risk, internal financial and operational controls, budget, as well as protection and growth of assets. The individual will also oversee all administrative operations to ensure a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and inclusive work environment. The Regional Controller will be a key business partner providing financial leadership within the regional team. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Hotel Accounting and Finance , with a strong dotted line to the Senior Vice President of Operations the Regional Controller will be a key player in Pyramid Hotel Group's growth and development.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess knowledge, experiences and attributes, demonstrating strong leadership and relationship skills as follows: * Minimum of five years REGIONAL Financial Management experience with increasing management responsibility in hotel finance and accounting. * Developed accounting, finance and analytical skills including experience with cash management, forecasting, revenue management strategies, long-term capital expenditures planning and project management skills. * Four year college degree in a business curriculum to include Intermediate Accounting and Financial fundamentals * Demonstrates ability to evaluate business trends to influence business strategies PLEASE APPLY ONLINE AT http://PyramidOASYS.com
