Job Description
This position will start at a base salary of $45-$50K with the potential for a 20% annual bonus.
Position Summary:
To oversee all operational aspects of the restaurant, including all financial responsibility, management of team members within the room, and providing an exceptional guest service experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Hire, evaluate, coach, and terminate as needed within the restaurant outlets
* Ensure high standards of quality control of product and service within the Food outlet
* “Sees the whole picture”
* Understands and demonstrates management’s point of view
* Greets and seats guests when needed, and maintains a visible presence in the room
* Supervises the training of all Team Members in maintaining expected standards
* Responsible for scheduling, assigning stations and job duties
* Controls labor costs
* Maintains and encourages open communication between all personnel in the dining room
* Analyze and recognize deficiencies or problem areas and provide corrective material, financial and personnel resources to accomplish desired results
* Responsible for regulating and overseeing employees’ safety
* Visit with guests a minimum of five minutes every hour
* Ensure that all Team Members are knowledgeable of and adhere to all Ameristar Casinos, Inc. Service Standards
Job Requirements
* Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations, including menu planning, food, liquor and labor costing, budgets, financial statements
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Be able to work in a fast paced environment
* Exceptional leadership skills
* Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to lead a cohesive and diverse group of team members
* Must have no felony convictions and be able to obtain and maintain a Missouri Gaming License
* Five (5) years food and beverage experience
* Three (3) years supervisory experience
