Location Information
This position completes research and solicits & generates new leads for group, transient and catering business opportunities through a variety of efforts and database resources to maximize room & catering revenues. Prior experience in hotel sales, utilizing sales databases and internet-based systems is required. Interstate is an EEO/AA/M/F/D/V employer. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays. High school graduate, some college Ability to prioritize and follow-through Excellent writing and proof-reading skills Strong experience with Microsoft Office programs Ability to satisfactorily communicate verbally and in writing in English Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments Ability to focus on detail Ability to work without supervision Achieve and exceed leads goals annually.
