The Regional Area Director of Operations will be based in Denver, Colorado at one of our area properties.  This position is required to travel 90% of the time and would also be very instrumental in New Hotel Openings and Acquisitions. Travel would include property visits to CO, CA, AZ, ND, UT and NV.

Relocation expenses would be discussed at the time of offer.

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years General Manager level upscale hotel experience or 3 years in a Regional level position or combination
  • Proven track record of success in leading multiple full service or select service hotels
  • Demonstrated leadership skills that inspire others to perform at high levels
  • Strong operations and sales track record
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong understanding of balance between process management, leadership and delegation
  • Responsible for business plan development, P&L's and compliance with all standards including regulatory, Brand and Commonwealth Hotels for each property
  • Provides operational support for the General Managers and Department Managers of the properties
  • Productive conflict resolution skills and negotiation competencies
  • Track record of financial and operational performance excellence
  • A strong team player
  • Broad based experiences in operations, and success at the General Manager level
  • College degree preferred
  • 90% Travel Required
