Biscayne Lady Yacht Charters is South Florida's leading yacht charter company is seeking a Chef Assistant to assist with the day to day culinary operation. General duties include but are not limited supervise kitchen staff and participate in culinary activities - must be hands on.

Job Description:

As a Chef Assistant you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Galley Operations. The ideal candidate must be self driven, motivational oriented professional who will drive the culinary operations with a relentless focus on high quality.  In addition, the Chef Assistant will assist with food and labor cost results, while maintaining food quality as well as ensuring recipe compliance, sanitation standards, and development of the kitchen staff.

Knowledge

- Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.

• The ability to train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities.

Job Requirements:

• Culinary Degree and /or related culinary degree with 3+ years of industry & management and experience.
• The ability to coach and lead others and build employee morale
