Front Office Supervisor / Sales Coordinator
Location: US - CA - Tulare
We are currently recruiting for the position of Front Office Supervisor / Sales Coordinator. This person will be responsible for assisting the Management Staff with Supervising of all Front Office / Breakfast Employees as well as assist in the overall Sales effort(s) of the property. This candidate will act as a direct extension of the Management Team.
Scope: To ensure that the Front Office is successful & as independent as possible, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction consistent with Hampton standards through planning, organizing, directing & controlling all aspects related to Front Office Operations & the general Sales effort.
Other Front Office Supervisory Duties required:
- Serve as a Liaison between Hotel Sales and Front Office / Breakfast Staff
- Responsible for the smooth operation of the Arrival & Departure Process
- Ownership of the Service Recovery Process
- Responsible for all Training of Front Office Staff
- Responsible for ordering of all Office Supplies in accordance with Monthly Budgeting
- Promote a Professional atmosphere with an emphasis on Hamptonality!
- Human Resources related function such as: Coach & Counsels, Disciplinary Actions, Assisting in Performance Reviews, etc.
- Manager On Duty Program
- Any other duties that will promote the growth & prosperity of Hampton Inn & Suites, Tulare.
Sales Coordinating Duties required:
- Maintain a constant awareness of budget & daily revenue figures
- Assist in the meeting or exceeding of Sales Call Goals for appointments, telephone calls, information calls & community involvement
- Maintain a close relationship with current Top Accounts via direct contact or telephone
- Uncover new business & qualify leads gained from Sales calls, articles, trade shows, networking, events, etc
- Assist in the writing of the Annual Business Plan with the Hotel Operations Manager (Sales Manager) & work to achieve goals outlined within
- Communicate with all other departments about all necessary Sales information for the professional execution of commitments
- Attend weekly Sales meetings & Quarterly Action Plan meetings
- Participate in community activities, employee functions & guest events
- Maintain current & accurate Sales files for all Accounts
- Daytime travel is required. Visiting clients, attending events, etc will be expected with occasional overnight business travel.
