Marshall Hotels & Resorts, a premier management company responsible for performance in an eclectic group of branded and independent hotels throughout the United States and the Caribbean is seeking a proven Director of Sales to develop and maintain revenue success in Vineland, NJ.

An established management company managing 50+ hotels and 5000+ rooms nationwide and in the Caribbean, Marshall offers opportunities based on measurable performance. We are seeking a proven revenue generator to champion and drive the sales effort at the Ramada Vineland - (the only full service hotel in Vineland, NJ) - comprised of 102 premium guest rooms, 3 on site restaurants including an award-winning steakhouse and sushi bar, and 7,000 square feet of meeting space. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, possess the skill set to drive the hotel's revenue by conducting outside sales calls, performing property tours, telemarketing, internet prospecting, networking at local business functions and managing key business transient, LNR, and group accounts.

As leader of the hotel sales effort the ideal individual will:

Aggressively identify, target, pursue and secure key local business and local, state and regional group accounts at price points that are profitable to the hotel operation.
Implement effective strategies to increase hotel revenue and market share.
Identify and develop the hotel's client list.
Meet and exceed weekly sales activity and booking goals via the creation and implementation of the hotel's unique Sales Action Plan.
Act as a liaison between the sales department and the hotel's other departments.
Participate in the hotel's forecasting and budgeting process.
Actively participate in the hotel's sales strategy meetings.
Have the ability to analyze market trends.
Participate in the hotel's RFP process through the franchise and engage with the franchise relative to any and all revenue enhancing initiatives.
Other as required to deliver a successful top line.

Minimum of two (2) years of hotel sales experience required.

Experience selling to multiple market segments a plus.
Experience with Wyndham sales systems a plus, but not required.
Aggressive outside sales call expectations MUST be met consistently.
Responsible for generating profitable business for the hotel through consistent performance of established sales activity goals.
Must be highly motivated, goal-oriented, self-directed with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
Must be willing to be measured by results produced.
Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
Must possess a working knowledge of hotel computer systems as well as Microsoft Office computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
