Voted as one of America's Top Restaurants by Bon Apetit Magazine (June, 2008), the 680 North Restaurant and the Green Lake Lodge at Tuscumbia Country Club is looking for an exceptional CHEF to ensure the overall success of our food and beverage operation. This is a hands-on, full-time, year round position consisting of approximately 40+ hours per week.

Green Lake's natural beauty is a magnet for newcomers and visitors alike and can be enjoyed while biking, fishing, boating, camping and a host of many other outdoor activities that define the unique experiences of the area.

The successful candidate will have an exceptional passion for delivering the utmost in guest satisfaction and ensuring an enjoyable work environment. A minimum five years previous experience in fine dining and banquet service is essential.

Duties include:

'Lead by example' approach

Culinary preparation in banquet and family fine dining

"Hands On" Approach to food design and preparation

Staff supervision and training

Making sure labor costs and staff levels are met based on business needs

Assisting in budgeting and controlling food costs

Assisting in the overall operation, promotion and success of the Food and Beverage Department

Performing and delegating duties as required

An experienced chef who is a great saucier

Hands on experience of 5 years or more

Experience in a busy fine dining and banquet facilities environment

A 'do whatever it takes' approach to guest service

Personable and friendly

Able to train, schedule and motivate employees

Experience with operations, budgeting and cost control

Ability to "multi task" in a diverse food environment

Willingness to perform any and all duties as required
