General Manager

The position is for GENERAL MANAGER at a mid size hotel. This is a unique and special property that commands a dominant position in the ever-changing NYC market. This position is responsible for consistently delivering results that contribute to the overall success of the organization by accomplishing performance objectives focused on business revenues, guest and team satisfaction and effectiveness and efficiencies. The General Manager will coordinate, direct and manage day-to-day operations.

Our ideal GENERAL MANAGER will embrace the culture of our organization accompanied by their unique influence on the hotel. The candidate should embody self-drive, be guest driven, employee driven and be ready to work hands on. We seek leaders, not followers.

The ideal candidate for GENERAL MANAGER will posses:

1. THREE to FIVE years of hotel supervisory/managerial experience supervising rooms, accounting, sales, accounting and housekeeping.
2. Strong Operations Experience.
3. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. Proven leadership skills.
5. Aptitude in financial management.
6. Fluent in property management systems as well as general computer knowledge in both Windows and Mac platforms.
7. Well versed in sales, revenue management and social media.

 Seeking individual that is ready to be part of the team. Candidates that are hungry for an opportunity will be best suited for long term success with our organization. Applicants well versed with NY experience will be given priority consideration. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, fire safety certified is a plus.
