Food and Beverage Director

The Hotel Minneapolis Metrodome, soon to be Courtyard by Marriott Minneapolis, is seeking a forward thinking Food and Beverage Manager who is looking to grow and develop with one of the leading Hospitality Companies in the Twin Cities. We are a full service hotel conveniently located in Downtown Minneapolis on Seven Corners, near the University of Minnesota. The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the restaurant, room service, lounge and meeting/banquet events. The manager will schedule and direct the Food and Beverage team in their work assignments, to ensure our guest and clients have a successful experience. This position will be responsible for working with a budget to control expenses, including labor, maintain inventories, and grow revenues, hire, and retain, train, coach and counsel staff. Create an environment for success while working with other departments to achieve the hotels goals and maintain our values.

The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background as well as beverage service and front of the house experience. Must be flexible, the schedule will vary based on business, guests and meeting needs of the hotel. This position will be required to meet and maintain the standards of the hotel, also must have a good understanding of the food and beverage operations. High organizational, communication and basic computer skill are a must. The Hotel Minneapolis Metrodome, soon to be Courtyard by Marriott Minneapolis, prides itself on guest service.
