Responsible for sales of our catering department with focus on Weddings, Social Events, Golf Outings and Executive Retreats.

Primary markets: Local Corporate Businesses, Social Markets, and Non-profit organizations.  Expanded markets to include Northern New Jersey and Manhattan for C level Outings and Retreats.

Fulfill catering revenue projections by following sales standards and expectations that include: outbound sales calls, follow-up phone calls, trace file management, outside networking events, creating and implementing lead generation strategies, identifying and pursuing target markets by monitoring club and community demographics, utilize contact data base daily to build and track leads and prospects, accurately report all sales metrics, networking with members, guests, and community, and maintaining relationships with previous event hosts.

Manage event administrative requirements and logistics via contract/confirmation agreements, communicating requirements in advance to appropriate departments or outside vendors and following up to ensure that corporate standards of quality and service are met. Follow up with event hosts to ensure satisfaction and maximize referrals.

Paramount Country Club is finishing an extensive restoration to the beautiful Tillinghast designed, 18 hole championship golf course.  A recently renovated clubhouse and Member Cottage offer square footage and accommodations of the highest level.  12 tennis courts and a heated outdoor pool expand the offerings of this unique privately owned, non-equity club.  We have been named by The Knot as the 2013 "Best of Weddings" for our market.

We are looking for a professional having proven sales success in the local market and current success in selling events and outings to a corporate base.

2 years of related experience in sales preferably in golf/hospitality/service industry.

Strong sales skills required

Knowledge of golf preferred

Sales Training preferred

Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and sales software applications

Solid time management, organization and prioritization skills, ability to work with little direct supervision

Excellent customer service orientation and focus on customer satisfaction required

Strong leadership and people skills, plus the ability to build and foster a team environment

Valid drivers license required.
