The Hilton Garden Inn located in Plymouth, MI is currently seeking a talented, hardworking, and experienced cook. The candidate should be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Job Requirements include, but are not limited to:
* Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
* Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
* Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
* Operate large-volume cooking equipment
* Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
* Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
* Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
* Be able to put away truck orders two days a week if necessary.
* Schedule activities and equipment use with managers, using information about daily menus to help coordinate cooking times.
*Candidate must be able to communicate effectively.
*Previous cooking experience.
*Hotel experience is preferred but not necessary.
