Accountabilities include:
~Supervise Restaurant and special function operations to include private parties and special events.
~Responsible for the quality of service and training for all servers & staff.
~Work with Executive Chef, and General Manager.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
~ Optimize profits by controlling food, beverage and labor costs.
~ Increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt resolution
~Training and development of service staff
~Evaluation and testing of service staff
~Inspecting all areas for proper setups, maintenance and quality standards
~Lead pre-shift meetings
~ Provide leadership and direction to all team members to ensure efficient operation.
~ Makes daily decisions that involve time management (must have a sense of urgency)
~Ensure food quality and availability.
~Check and respond to emails and voice mails on a timely basis
~Scheduling of all restaurant service staff
~Manage all events pre-function and during functions
~Competency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & Micros

~Must have previous stable and successful employment in a similar position within the hospitality environment.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following abilities:
~ Provide leadership and direction to all team members to ensure efficient operation.
~Ensure food quality and availability. Lead, be articulate, detailed orientated and enthusiastic, flexible and passionate about the restaurant and hospitality
Profile:
~A minimum of three - five year’s experience in food and beverage management
~Sound knowledge of food and beverage products
~Bar & liquor selling qualifications
~Sales and Marketing experience a plus
~Experience, knowledge, hiring and training expertise in hospitality
~Ability to supervise and motivate line staff
~Health and safety regulation experience
~Experience in understanding cost control, profit and loss, and labor control reports
~Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel and Management
