SUMMARY:
To assist our guests efficiently, courteously and professionally in all Front Office related functions, while maintaining a high standard of service and hospitality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Register guests and assign rooms, accommodate special requests whenever possible. Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary.
- Follow daily checklists set up by management.
- Adhere to resort cash handling guidelines.
- Knowledgeable on room rates, packages, groups in-house, help promote special packages, discounts and upsells.
- Develop a working knowledge of PBX, Concierge, Business Center and Reservations.
- Know all safety and emergency procedures and how to act upon them.
- Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the Front Desk area.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the hotel's property management system.
- Complete all tasks assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School graduate (or equivalent), previous cash handling and customer service experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
