Web/Marketing Coordinator

The City of Newport News is seeking a Web/Marketing Coordinator to assist Parks, Recreation, and Tourism staff in developing and implementing marketing strategies and web sites that promote the City as a vacation destination to a variety of group markets, media, and consumers.
The position will be responsible for researching and preparing digital marketing and electronic media promotions; maintaining website content for Newport News tourism sites; researching website costs and negotiating with service providers; tracking consumer downloads and analyzing advertising web usage; and troubleshooting and resolving website issues.
The successful candidate will be required to have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field and 3-5 years related marketing, development, and research experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Anticipated hiring range is $39,543-$47,452. The City of Newport News is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
