We are currently seeking a Commercial Kitchen Designer for the Corporate Office in Greenville, SC.
Duties:
- Design, draw, and maintain an electronic archive of all projects. Projects will consist of plan-view drawings, equipment specification, utility schedules, utility rough-in dimensions, floor penetration dimensions, special conditions design, space elevations and renderings.
- Select construction and finish materials that best meet the function of the project.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and ADA regulations.
- Review drawings and sketches for compliance with contract terms and budget.
- Determine the best use of space, including concessions, kitchen, pantry and bar spaces.
- Prepare timeline for deliverables.
- Troubleshoot problems and provide prompt resolution.
- Prepare schematic design and construction documents for bid and construction.
- Conduct and/or participate in pre-construction meetings with the stakeholders.
- Work with managers to implement and maintain necessary controls and procedures.
- Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.
Requirements:
- Proficient in AutoCad
- Proficient in Autoquotes
- Proficient in KCL Cad
- Working knowledge of nationally accepted foodservice design practices
- Working knowledge of NFPA 96
- Proficient in Microsoft office Suite
- Familiar with Revitt is a plus
- Travel (TBD)

- Coordinate and lead, gather all facts and see the project to completion
Qualifications:
- Education: A baccalaureate degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience: Five years experience in foodservice design professional while in a management role.
- Other: Knowledge of Critical Path Method preferred, but will consider certifications and combination of experience.
- Physical: N/A (Preferred, Greenville, SC)
Other Requirements:
Mobility is needed to attend various meetings and events. Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays. Travel may be required.
