Sales & Catering Manager

The Castle Hotel & Spa (formerly The Castle on the Hudson) is seeking a talented, goal-oriented, Sales & Catering Manager to be a part of our post-renovation Team! Situated on 10 acres overlooking the scenic Hudson River in Tarrytown, New York, our historic property is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation, and when completed, will include a full-service luxury Spa; our award-winning fine dining restaurant, Equus; thirty-one luxury suites and rooms; and a full-service Catering facility. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with customers in planning and facilitating corporate and social events at one of the premier hotel resorts in Westchester County.

* Bachelor's (or equivalent) degree in Hotel/Hospitality Management or related field;

* A minimum of three years of experience working in a Sales/Catering role, dealing directly with customers, in a high-profile, upscale, hotel, resort and/or catering facility;

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;

* Strong computer skills, including the ability to work with a Sales/Catering booking application (i.e. Visual One; Delphi; etc.);

* Ability to be organized, with excellent follow-up;

* Ability to achieve/exceed Sales revenue goals;

* Ability to approach daily tasks with a cooperative, team-oriented, approach;

* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in accordance with business demands;

* Strong customer-service focus;

* Ability to multi-task
