The Historic Sundy House located in Delray Beach is seeking qualified, experienced candidates for the position of Restaurant Manager, this position reports to the General Manager. Located in North Palm Beach County in a very busy market place. Responsibilities include but are not limited to selection and pricing strategy of all liquors and wines, and supervision of their procurement and training. Providing restaurant guests with friendly and professional service, consistency of professional casual fine dining service, strong knowledge of wines, scheduling, inventories / inventory controls, ordering of all front of the house products and keeps a well-maintained environment at all times. Creation and development of an annual marketing plan to penetrate new sales opportunities and maximize use within existing markets. Further responsibilities include personnel development objectives and meeting the company's financial goals.
Proper guest service requires and employee staff that is thoroughly trained in service sequence, product knowledge, and makes every effort to meet the needs of each and every guest. It is the Restaurant Manager's responsibility to lead service education through.

Organize and Perform Daily line-ups
New server, busser, host and bartender training programs
Ongoing training, development and coaching
Employee discussions and evaluations
Daily evaluation of restaurant service performance
Employee discussion and evaluations
Coordination of timely food production
Supervise the daily operation of Food & Beverage including Restaurant, Bar’s, banquets and In Room Dining
Training and Development of all Food and Beverage employees and motivate them to perform their jobs effectively
Responsible for ensuring that all Food & Beverage operations are in compliance with all systems
Control policies and procedure
Monitor and control payroll and other expenses
Develop and maintain open lines of communication within the department and with other departments
Resolve guest problems expediently and in a professional manner
Ensure exceptional guest service is delivered in all Food & Beverage
Conduct regular departmental meetings
Schedule staff to reflect reservations and historical trends
Direct the efforts of the Restaurant Supervisor
Attend meetings
Interviewing and Hiring of all Food & Beverage staff
Handle disciplinary actions, coaching and counseling sessions and related personnel issues
Assist other departments as needed
Will perform additional duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
7+ year’s management experience in Food & Beverage leadership
Experience in a Four or Five Diamond hotel preferred by not required
advanced knowledge of Food & Beverage computer systems, including the ability to solve system related problems
Ability to work flexible schedule (weekends/ holidays)
