As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing office support in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Responsibilities would include:

 

Reviewing all new hire paperwork

Files paperwork and insures files are in order and up to date (including FMLA and Disability files)

Types memos and other correspondence

Answers the phone and responds to inquiries

Maintains orderliness of office supplies and equipment

Assist in coordinating the Workers compensation/Safety programs/ training initiatives in conjunction with departments

Assist in coordinating the Safety Committee activities

Provides administrative assistance such as filing paperwork, making new hire and termination files, maintaining department and personnel files and maintaining employee bulletin boards

Coordinate meetings, create materials and presentations, research key topics and provide ongoing support and follow up in project timeliness

 

The ideal candidate will possess a high proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Publisher and MS Power Point.  High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 to 4 years related HR work experience.  Knowledge of the principles and practices of Human Resources administration is preferred.  Must be able establish and maintain effective working relationships with others as well as obtain and maintain the confidence and cooperation of others.
