You’ll possess the following
Excellent communication skills with the ability to sell, negotiate, and influence prospects, existing clients, hotel guests, and colleagues
Advanced knowledge of sales and hospitality principles and practices
Results-oriented writing techniques and strategies for correspondence, i.e., memos, letters, reports, proposals, contracts
Appropriate and accurate grammar and punctuation in written communication
Ability to maximize impact, maintain interest, and establish a rapport with an audience when conveying information
Ability to proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage time and resources
At least five years' experience as a director of sales in successive positions of growth
Willingness to work comfortably and effectively in an environment of uncertainty and change
Background in using e-commerce to build appropriate business for your hotel
Capacity to show respect for and sensitivity to differences among people
Four-year degree or equivalent
English is a must; other languages are a plus
Basic math skills
