Since his first hotel acquisition in 1982, Gary Tharaldson has owned over 350 hotel properties throughout the United States. He has been instrumental in developing prototype properties for the likes of Marriott and Hilton, and has received numerous Developer of the Year awards from the same highly respected franchise companies.

Tharaldson Hospitality Management LLC, operates a portfolio of business class hotels under franchise license agreements with Intercontinental Hotels Group, Marriott International and Hilton. Our goal is to maximize the operational quality and financial performance of our hotels, grow market share and enhance the performance of our hotels through the constant pursuit of superior levels of quality, efficiency and service.

THM, formed in January 2011, currently provides management services for 23 hotels in 10 states. Tharaldson owns 19 of the hotels and four are owned by a third party.

Tharaldson Hospitality Management LLC, is seeking a highly motivated individual with previous hotel experience to lead one of our extended stay hotels. Responsbilities include managing the hotel's overall operation through maintaining established cost and quality standards, maximizing profits, developing and retaining employees and exceeding guest expectations.

The ideal candidate is one who is ready to work hard. This position is responsible for consistently delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel by accomplishing performance objectives focused on business revenues, guest and associate satisfaction and effectiveness and efficiencies.

A commitment to creating and maintaining a quality product and guest/associate relations is a must. Revenue management experience preferred and a successful sales background is a plus. Excellent communication, problem solving and PC skills will be required.

Maximizes room revenues by anticipating and planning for market shifts; develops and monitors strategic marketing prospects; develops, implements and monitors annual business and marketing plans and participates in appropriate national marketing efforts.

Establish and maintain a proactive human resources function to ensure employee motivation, training and development, wage/benefit administration and compliance with policies and procedures and labor regulations.
