The Pastry Cook is an essential member of the Food and Beverage team dedicated to providing pastries, bakery, amenities, ice cream & petits fours items for our ever-discriminating guests. The Pastry Cook prepares baked goods in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. The Culinary department presents an endless amount of opportunities of learning and growth for line cook positions of all levels.

We are looking for individuals who have a passion for pastry work and a keen sense for flavors, color and texture in what they produce. Creativity and flair, the ability to provide both guidance and strong leadership to others, good business acumen, strong work ethic, attention to detail and strong communication skills are required. The Pastry cook works together with other team members on a daily basis to ensure a flawlessly executed final product and the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors is required.

Position also requires continuous standing for up to 8 hrs per shift and the ability to lift up to 70lbs. The Pastry Cook 1 position is an advanced level line cook position and ideal candidates will have a combination of a culinary degree and at least 3 years of work experience or the equivalent work experience in a bakery or pastry section, if no culinary degree has been obtained. Advanced culinary knowledge is expected for this position.
