General Manager

Stonebridge Companies is a privately owned, innovated hotel management company headquartered near Denver, Colorado. Currently, Stonebridge Companies operates nearly 40 hotels comprising approximately 6,000 guest rooms in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, and Virginia. The diverse portfolio includes select-service, extended stay, mid-scale and full-service hotels in primary and secondary markets.

We are currently seeking a sophisticated GENERAL MANAGER for our new aloft Hotel at Denver International Airport.

The General Manager drives the training, culture and overall environment of the hotel. With a proven history of hotel success they assure the effective and efficient operation of the building and are ultimately responsible for achieving guest satisfaction targets, brand standard execution and positive financial performance. This person is the property expert and assumes all training responsibility related to creating and maintaining that unique culture. The ideal General Manager is approachable and supportive acting as a mentor whenever possible.

The ideal General Manager candidate will have the following:
* Three years General Manager experience, preferably with a Starwood brand
* Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills
* Proactive, Resourceful, and outside the box thinking strategies
* Strong sales experience and proficiency in revenue management
* F&B Revenue Generation experience
* Be an engaging leader with proven team building and guest service skills
* Use a hands-on approach
* Ability to comprehend and utilize Profit and Loss statements
* Working knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing EEO and civil rights, occupational safety and health, wage and hour issues, and labor relations
