Lifeguard

Dallas Country Club is currently seeking a qualified individual for a Lifeguard. DCC, founded in 1896, is the most exclusive and prestigious private club in the area and we pride ourselves on hiring the best of the best. If you consider yourself the best of the best please apply.

Lifeguarding involves the prevention of injury or loss of life by performing water rescue and prevention techniques, first aid, and CPR. Duties also include a variety of maintenance tasks, teaching swim lessons and monthly in-service. Previous lifeguarding experience is preferred. Lifeguard candidates must be at least 17 years of age and in good health. All aquatics staff should be professional and enjoy working with all ages.

Lifeguard Requirements:
 

Current certification in the following:

• Lifeguard and First Aid by recognized agency
• CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer

Pre-employment testing of lifeguard skills and knowledge.

Additional requirements for Swim Instructor/Coach:

•  Age 18 or older
•  Water Safety Instructor or 2-3 years prior experience teaching swim lessons.

Responsibilities:

• Monitors activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers: Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe areas.
• Recognize and respond effectively in emergencies
• Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations.
• Participate in regular in-service training sessions.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Dallas Country Club pool will be open May 3th through Labor Day.
