Executive Steward

The prestigious New York Athletic Club, one of the world's premier private clubs, founded in 1868 and located on Central Park South in Manhattan, is seeking for a regular full-time Executive Steward. The candidate for this position oversee daily operation of the kitchen, ensuring clean and efficient and economical food service and food ordering. Responsibilities include food purchasing, inspection of kitchen and equipment for cleanliness, keeping inventory and directly supervise 25+ union employees, scheduling, weekly payroll, and training of staff. Assure compliance with Health Department standards. Must be able to set and maintain quality standards. We are looking for someone with strong work ethic, great leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Hotel/ Private Club experience desirable
Bachelor's Degree desirable
Experience in a union environment desirable
Bilingual in Spanish helpful
