The Westin Mount Laurel, the premier corporate and social hotel in the South Jersey market, is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our outstanding team as a Bellperson.

The hotel has 173 beautifully appointed guest rooms including 10 Junior Suites. The hotel features all of the amenities that would be expected in a hotel of this calibre including deluxe appointed guest rooms, an Ala Carte Restaurant and bar, 24 hour Room Service, business center, a full fitness center and wired as well as wireless internet access. The hotel also has 22,000 square feet of meeting space including two ballrooms and six meeting and breakout rooms. The Westin is the market leader in both product and service and has built a strong reputation in the local corporate and social market as the place to book rooms for events and meetings.
As a Bellperson, you’ll be responsible for providing a positive first and last impression to guests as they arrive and leave the hotel. This person is responsible for meeting or exceeding the needs of our guests and for being professional, friendly, and helpful.
Essential Job Functions
Demonstrate outstanding guest service skills at all times and be able to anticipate guests needs and respond quickly and professionally to them
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
Resolve guest complaints or escalate them to the appropriate person/department
Maintain complete knowledge of equipment and use it only as intended
Ensure knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies and service standards
Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of a Bellperson include:
Greeting guests entering and exiting in a friendly and courteous manner
Assisting arriving and departing guests with their luggage
Assist with guest parking and working with Valet
Assisting guests in and out of vehicles
Organizing and storing luggage as necessary
Listening and responding to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice
Providing accurate information about hotel services, directions to local attractions, etc.
Assisting guests with transportation
