Dining Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Casual Dining Supervisor to work in our Oasis Café.

Lakeside Country Club is a private country club located on the west side of Houston. We offer our membership an 18 hole golf course, 13 tennis courts, an aquatic center, banquet and A’la carte dining facilities as well as golf, fitness, tennis and pool resort facilities.

We are looking for an experienced Dining Supervisor for our casual dining/poolside café.  This is a full-time, temporary position from early spring through the summer with potential to transfer to our Banquet department in the capacity of Banquet Captain for the other half of the year, upon successful completion of the temporary assignment.

Job Duties:

• Train and supervisor the dining staff ensuring compliance with Club policies.
• Perform opening and closing duties at the Oasis.
• Requisition supplies.
• Provide immediate attention to all members/guests upon arrival
• Place orders with kitchen, inform cooks about any special cooking instructions
• Assemble food on trays; procure items from each station as necessary
• Serve meal; place dishes by courses in front of each person
• Check back to ensure member/guest satisfaction
• Enter ticket into the POS systems and present bill to member
• Keep tables, dining room and bus station areas clean
• Advise Manager on Duty of any complaints as soon as they occur

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:           

Good communication skills       

2+ years experience preferred

Meals and uniforms are provided.
