Position: Overnight Room Service Server

Position Summary:

Room Service Servers are responsible for setting, delivering, and serving Room Service orders in accordance with Loews Hotels standards. 

  • Completes required set up / preparation, at beginning of shift
  • Inspects all equipment prior to and at end of shift, reports any needed repairs to supervisor
  • Inventories supplies at beginning of shift, obtains supplies necessary to support forecasted level of business
  • Prepares coffee as required throughout shift
  • Deliver guest amenities to guest rooms.
  • Presets trays and carts as required throughout shift.
  • Checks all Room Service Orders for accuracy and completeness prior to departing kitchen
  • Delivers Room Service Orders to guestroom in a timely manner
  • Sets up and serves order in guest room, according to guest preference, in a polite professional manner
  • Obtains proper charge authorization or payment for orders delivered
  • Completes all necessary paperwork accurately and legibly
  • Picks up soiled Room Service trays and carts from guestrooms and corridors as needed
  • Cleans and maintains Room Service area and equipment
  • Completes assigned closing duties at end of shift
  • Deliver guest requests to guest rooms as needed
  • Retrieve daily storeroom and beverage requisitions
  • Engage and delight the guest and make experience positive
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

* This position requires 1-2 years Room Service experience in a 4-5 diamond environment
* Candidates should possess stellar organizational skills, be highly motivated
* Must be able to execute and implement all facets of a daily Room Service operation
* Must be able to work a flexible shift, including weekends and holidays.
* Must have an outgoing personality with professional appearance and exceptional communication skills
