We provide personal, instinctive and renewing service to our guests in our beautifully appointed hotel with 157 guest rooms and 26,000 square feet of meeting space.

The Westin Colonnade Coral Gables Hotel is seeking an experienced line cook to service diners in our upscale, American-Fusion restaurant. This position will allow you to demonstrate your cooking abilities in a fine-dining and fast paced environment.

- Position requirements:

Maintain work areas, keeping them organized

Monitor the presentation and portioning of food to ensure all standards are met

Ensure quality and consistency of all food from the line

Set-up, maintain, re-stock, and clean food preparation areas

Demonstrate knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling

Prepare food in accordance with menus, recipes, and photos

Attend all required meetings & trainings

Qualified candidates should possess the following skills:

read and understand English

some Food Preparation courses preferred

Minimum two (2) years high volume cooking experience

Ability to communicate effectively with public and fellow associates
