General Facilities Manager/Director of Food and Beverage
We are looking for a person to operate a facility in the central South Dakota city of Oacoma. The facility encompasses many operations, including a Grocery Store, GIft/Coffee Shop and very well known historic restaurant. This is a year round opportunity in a primarily seasonal market.
The facility has been under the same ownership for a half century. In our estimation this scenario creates a great deal of opportunity for a self starter looking to join a very successful 47 year old South Dakota company. We are looking for insightful, involved and financially responsible individuals that would consider this challenge a great career move and an opportunity to join a stable, grown oriented Mid-western company.
The person chosen for this position will have exceptional customer service skills and will be willing and able to assist in all areas of the facility. This is a very iconic setting that requires a great deal of customer interaction and oversight of a group of seasoned management staff as well as specific oversight of the food and beverage operation. Menu design/development and food preparation and presentation skills will be most helpful.
A background in successful restaurant management is mandatory, and we prefer no less than 5 years of experience as the manager of a high volume facility. We consider "High Volume" in this case, to be anything over $2 Million in annualized food revenues.
