Position: Security Supervisor

Position Summary:

Position works closely with the Security Management Team and is responsible for the supervision of the Security Team which monitors the Hotel, Office Building complex along with the security for the Business Services Center. Investigates breeches in security and/or violations of safety protocol to determine probable cause and solutions. Position also ensures the safety and security of the guests and team members and the protection of the Hotel property and assets.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Excellent communication, organizational and guest relations skills
• Associate degree or equivalent
• Minimum three years experience as a hotel security officer or contracted security officer at a comparable quality property
• Knowledge of local, sate and federal laws pertaining to the activities of Security personnel (including OSHA, Hazardous Communication and Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control)
• TN Security License, CPR/AED and First Aid certified or the ability to obtain
• Excellent computer skills
• Able to stand for long periods of time
