Brooksby Village is 5 STAR Rated Facility with 5 full service restaurants. Here we cook everything from scratch with the freshest ingredients in our state of the art equipped kitchens. The menu changes daily and our chefs are encouraged to use creative license and develop their own chef specials.

Due to our continued growth and the internal promotion of staff - we are in need of a Chef de Cuisine to manage our full service exhibition restaurant.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the efficiency and quality of food ordering, purchasing, receiving and storage
• Food Preparation of a daily changing menu that includes a chef special
• Ensure proper presentation of all food items to provide maximum appeal and freshness.
• Supervise organization and sanitation of kitchen and storage areas
• Direct supervision of up to 20 employees including all food production and utility staff
• Directly responsible for the training of culinary staff - and utility staff where applicable
• Assist in the development of menus and recipes

Job Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a high volume culinary setting
• 3+ years of management/supervisor experience
• Computer based inventory, ordering, and payroll experience
• Must be very professional with strong interpersonal skills and mild temperament
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service orientation
• Culinary Degree Preferred
