PBX Operators are responsible for providing the first impression of our hotel over the phone, so a clear, courteous speaking voice and excellent customer service are essential. Duties include answering telephone calls and connecting guests and employees to the appropriate extensions; recording and handling wake-up calls; recording and distributing messages for guests and employees; dispatching calls to Engineering, Housekeeping and Security via the 2-way radio; sending, receiving, and logging faxes for employees and guests. Knowledge of the surrounding area is important as guests will inquire about the location of areas of interest and available services.
