This position will manage the Banquet operations of our newly renovated 8000 square foot function and meeting space. This is a good opportunity for an  experienced banquet Manager who is looking to advance. This opportunity provides an environment where the right individual can bring their ideas to the table and enhance their management skills. Position reports to the Executive Chef and to the GM. Food & Beverage Experience is necessary.

Essential Banquet Responsibilities:
1. Manage banquet staff and bartenders to include hiring, terminations, disciplinary actions
2. Coordinate the set up staff and function lay outs
3. Manage the servicing of functions and the beak down after the event
4. Ordering linen, china, glass and silverware and other items as needed
5. Assist Executive Chef in ordering liquor, monitoring liquor cost
6. Maintaining Inventory of linen, china, glass and silverware
7. Schedule banquet staff as needed
8. Complete the tips reports for staff
9. Control labor and complete time edits for staff
10. Staff training
11. Work closely with sales department to insure that all details of function are completed properly

12. Assist management in hiring, training and scheduling

13. Closing bars at the end of functions

14. Work with the Chef and GM to implement controls to help reduce food and labor cost while continuing to provide a high level of quality and service.
