Controller

We are seeking a qualified Controller for a new project in Los Angeles, California. Duties will include but not be limited to; processing accounts receivables and payables, posting daily revenues, posting daily expenses, overseeing the general cashier functions, completing financial reporting as assigned by the Corporate Office, participating in completing financial forecasts and the annual budget, doing check runs, overseeing payroll, overseeing customer disputes, administrative control on property accounting computer systems and software, and oversight of credit card processing systems.

This position requires a minimum of 2 years in an Accounting Management or Controller position, with multiple restaurant or high volume Food & Beverage experience preferred. High school diploma or GED required with some college or trade school accounting education preferred. Working knowledge of the M3 accounting system a plus. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills;

Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Must speak and write English fluently. Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.

Excellent mathematical skills and 10-key proficiency

Professional appearance and positive attitude

Ability to multi-task and supervise different projects at the same time

Cash handling experience

Excellent organizational skills

Must be proficient working with computers with experience in Word, Excel, and POS

Must possess strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
